159-Convent Of The Blood Of Our Lord Of The Cuts..

The title of that convent is a play on my own church growing up "Most Precious Blood" which seriously grossed me out every single time I thought about it. Bloody churches. (See I'm American I am not swearing! I'm just decribing hemoglobic-religious places!)

I also grew up across from a convent and have a bunch of aunt nuns, so this comic is SUPER authentic for the way convents look on the inside.

Can anyone name the three gangs shown on the movie screen in this week's comic? I'll give you a hint, one of them is The Warriors themselves.

I also couldn't get a great picture of my favorite gang: The Punks.

I also wonder how the popularity of that movie is outside of Brooklyn. It's the best the 70's gave us. I firmly stand by that belief (with feathered hair, overalls, and rollerskates)!

The Warriors (and it appears its the scene where they are being chased by the Turnbull AC's) , the Lizzies, and the Rogues

Wooo-hooo Tony T-cubed! You are totally correct even down to the chase by Turnball AC. You win....uh...free dinner meal next time we meet up to take pictures! It's been far too long since I've seen ya sir! I should have told you about that Warriors showing, but I didn't realize you were such a fan. Best part: 100's of people brought bottles so we had a ridiculously loud live version of the "come out and plaaay!"

Annie's part gets even better! I hope she has computer access on her vacation to see it. Do they have computers in Utah?

Lauren, you just made me imagine eyeballs having sex. I must now go and wash my brain.

anytime my old roommate and i would be walking around our campus, i would randomly look at her and say, 'you know the reason i like [insert person we know's name here]' and she would always fall for it and say 'why?' and i would very loudly and embarassingly start singing 'cuz she's got....HUNGRY EEYYYYYEEEES! I FEEL THE MAGIC BETWEEN YOU AND IIIII' and she would always get sooooo embarassed and it caused me MOMENTS of entertainment.
