It's a 'Turkey on Mr. Bean's Head' phone and to answer the phone you lift the turkey off Mr. Bean's head and put it over your own.

Meteoric rise and tragic fall in a comic and a half.
Assuming that is Caviar. Because the "phone" connects with another comic.
And why would she wear a blue t-shirt?

Well, it's sort of like Inigo Montoya... once he finally acheived the goal that he'd spent his entire life preparing for (that being killing the Six Fingered Man, thereby avenging his father), he didn't really know what to do with himself. Caviar has seen the glow of fashion perfection. What is left for her to do with her life?
This is just my speculation, of course.

That makes perfect sense!
Or maybe fashion had died out, people just covering themselves with photos of Trent?

I never liked the idea of candy-coated pencils, 'cause at the end you'd be left sucking on wood ... wait ...

Perhaps she should consider piracy...
(she'd make a wonderful Dread Pirate Caviar)

Though unofficial, I did make this little guy last month during Talk Like A Pirate Day:

Oh it's official NOW.
Welcome pirate smiley!
Bring on the hat parade of celebration: *insert hat parade of celeration song*
*end hat parade of celeration song with the throwing of hats*
: OW MY EYE!
Sorry sir. You should watch out for falling hats next time.
You guys are very smart...but I guess you won't find out the REAL truth until...um...maybe tuesday. I'm considering doing TWO this week, since the one I did wound up ridiculously long.
Sorry about the phone confusion...it's just such a good prop to not use all the time! That phone, is and always is, THE STYLE PHONE. Caviar just let me borrow it for my trip to Dead Man's Curve. (It gets much better reception than my free verizon one.)

I just reread starting from 150 through 167.
You are officially the funniest lady in all of webcomics-dom. Maybe in the entire comics world. Funnier than, like,
Cathy.
I was also going to mention that I have your piece of broken poop from SPX, but then I'd have to explain what that means, and someone is bound to be embarrassed, so I won't mention it.

Kudos on the Photoshop job. I looooooove love love news parodies. Most of the media I encounter is shamelessly insipid and deserves parody. In fact, that T3 Cakes interview is entirely plausible, I think.
I like this new mysterious plot-twist deal, too. Not so much "whodunit?" as "what happened?" Yeah!

...so, rather than 'whodunit', it's 'whahappenedanwhowuzinvolvedandwhendoweget2seeit'.
Or 'whodunitandbythewaywhatisitthatwearetalkingabout'

Awww man, Klio. You flatter me all pink-cheeked! (Also, thanks for taking care of my broken Jess Fink poo.)
To answer Yanichka's question: whahappenedanwhowuzinvolvedandwhendoweget2seeit...her full story will be revealed as soon as Furboa is
done pulling off the newspapers
