Hey guys what do you think of these shirts?



I read a book talking about how the averaged-out opinions of large, diverse groups of people are often very accurate.  Basically it's because everyone has different and complementary bits of information about any given subject, more than any one person could have.  And if any of your information is wrong, it's probably wrong in a unique way, so your incorrect information isn't corroborated by anyone else, and so is less relevant to the whole than the correct information that is corroborated by other people's correct information.

Anyway the point is, instead of asking you guys if you personally would buy these shirts (subjective and limited), do you think that people in general would buy these shirts?

i think the cutout heart would probably do better w/o the blood spatter.

I registered just to say this, so perhaps I represent the greater unseen lurkbase of Wondermark. I also forgot to finish typing my username...

The above comments about the right hand shirt seem about right to me. It depends on whether you really intend on approaching a completely non-wondermark-related market. There are probably other websites with very much equivalent style t-shirts with a much more user-appropriate audience, and probably a larger one (I expect more people buy t-shirts online than read wondermark, but I could be wrong).

The left hand one, on the other hand, I would 100% definitely buy myself. I would have probably bought the "where is my elephant?" tshirt if it wasn't in that style with borders on the hems, and this also wondermark-related and better.

I like the Creepy Bob shirt. I'd definitely buy it if I had appropriate funds still.

I I think that if anyone truly, deeply cared for Wondermark, they'd buy every bit of merchandise you have, including the creepy Bob shirt, and then offer their souls to you so that you may use them as resources for making a living, breathing, mound of Wondermark-loving souls that would then be cut into little slices, that you'd sign, to be sold to the devoted fans of Wondermark, so that with enough purchases, they may offer their souls to you again for your amusement.

At least, that's what I'd do for Wondermark.

...If I ever got around to it.

Anyways. Love the shirt on the left, not too crazy about the other one.

I love the heart cutout shirt! I reject emotion entirely, too, so I'm not some emo kid. I like it because it's gory in an artsy way and reminds me of the cover art of my band's EP. It's awesome and I would totally buy it.

The other one... doesn't showcase the best Wondermark has to offer, AKA it sucks.

ooh! I like that one. Moreso than the current variation of that design (which is a nice design as well).   I think it'd have a wider appeal, but I may biased, as I think the slogan is hilarious in the first place.  But attempting to ignore the slogan entirely, I'm pretty sure the design would be salable amongst the Internet-t-shirt-buying crowd.

I like that last design, but some of us already have revolution shirts.
